ROGER T. PANEK

Roger Panek received his undergraduate education at Pratt Institute, and was awarded a Bachelor of Architecture degree. His apprenticeship was begun in New York City concurrent with graduate work.
Mr. Panek has been employed in architectural offices in New York City, Toronto and San Francisco. He advanced from Draftsman to Project Manager, working on a wide variety of building and construction types. His first architectural license was obtained in California.
Early in his career, Mr. Panek began independent studies in American architectural styles, and published a nationally known chart and text on this subject. Continuing association with historic buildings and the preservation community have broadened and deepened his academic knowledge.
In addition to maintaining a continuing private architectural practice, Mr. Panek was associated until about 1990 with other Boston architectural firms as Project Manager, and has done construction contracting and landscape design. His residential designs are sold nationwide through a New York publisher. Mr. Panek developed an illustrated lecture on building deterioration problems for condominium owners, to assist them in recognizing symptoms. He is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, and is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He is Principal Architect in the firm, and is personally involved in every phase of every project.
