Acorn Hall

Acorn Hall

This mid-nineteenth century Tuscan Doric structure in Morristown, New Jersey is now the headquarters of the Morris County Historical Association. It was the subject of an Architectural Assessment.

Pemaquid Mill

Pemaquid Mill

A former textile, grain and saw mill, this structure in Bristol, Maine was purchased by community donations. It was then the subject of a Restoration Plan, which led to restoration work on the superstructure and building envelope." The photo shows Roger Panek with the contractor and his assistant. Roger also performed restoration carpentry on this project.

La Rochelle

La Rochelle

An Architectural Assessment was performed on this former George Bowdoin residence in Bar Harbor, Maine. It is the only surviving mansion from "The Gilded Age" at this resort community.

Hammond Castle

Hammond Castle

A unique 1929 structure on the North Atlantic shore, this former residence is now a museum. It was the subject of an Architectural Assessment.

Suffolk Resolves House

Suffolk Resolves House

Headquarters and museum of the Milton (Massachusetts) Historical Society, this 18th century building is composed of two sections. The building was moved from another location and assembled on the present site. Exterior restoration work was carried out in two phases, one being grant-assisted, and covered the building from roof to foundation.

Robert Bennet Forbes Museum

This building reflects the unusual participation of the two noted architects in its design: Isiah Rogers designed the two-story structure in the early 19th century; Peabody & Stearns the third floor in the 1880’s. The restoration included extensive carpentry work, painting in historically correct colors, masonry work, and rainwater control system renovations.

Eleazer Arnold House

Utilizing an aerial lift, the exterior of this very rare seventeenth century survivor in Lincoln, Rhode Island was measured, and existing conditions drawings prepared. They will be used as historical record, and for future restoration work.

Larz Andersen Auto Museum

The initial phase of restoration included masonry cleaning, rebuilding and repointing; all new copper gutters and downspouts, and selected roofing work. A Master Pan was developed to guide future work.

Caryl Parsonage

A landmark building in Dover, Massachusetts, the Caryl Parsonage, dating from 1777, required replacement of cedar shingle roofing, selected wood trim repairs, and selected repainting.

Tortoise Fountain, Marble House

Detail view of centerpiece of this reconstructed Danby marble fountain featuring bronze figures and modern plumbing.

Hercules Fountain

Reconstructed from photographs and fragments, and outfitted with a modern plumbing system, this fountain is made of Rossa Verona breccia stone (related to marble), and accommodates eighteen bronze sculptures. The sculptures were artificially patinated to resemble aged bronze.

Warner Theatre

A complete exterior restoration was performed for this campus landmark at Worcester Academy. Work included masonry and cast stone masonry cleaning, repointing, rebuilding and coating; replacement of decorative features; slate, copper, and rubber membrane roofing; and painting.
