The first included replacement of the wood shingle roofing; the second, a full building envelope restoration consisting of replacement of deteriorated structural members and sheathing, new wood siding, windows restoration, interior storm windows, and drainage improvements to divert a stream in the cellar. | ![]() Porter Square Fire StationThis imposing and important municipal facility in Cambridge, Massachusetts had been afflicted with chronic roof leaks. The corrective work included slate roofing and copper gutter replacement. | ![]() City Hall Annex - CambridgeSerious deterioration of the steel lintels at the ground floor windows was the major restoration issue here. Work entailed removal of the masonry lintels, replacement and waterproofing of the steel, and replacement of the masonry. |
